In drill cores, age is a function of depth. Just because they couldn't get any deeper doesn't mean there's nothing older beyond. To the contrary. It virtually guarantees that what's beyond is older. Ok, this is what i was responding to when i told you to read up on mid-oceanic ridges. Why do you th...

Re: Tectonic Striae
You're starting to get the the idea, dannan. But not just independent thinking: independent observation as well. Like my good friends Copernicus, Keppler, and Galileo. So I'm in good company. *groan* /facepalm Interesting, and certainly worthy of consideration. But not convincing me yet. To be sure...

Re: Tectonic Striae
Actually not RS. There is an entirely opposite possible cause. We are told that the Earth started as a molten ball, logic would suggest that it then cooled from the out side, to form a crust. Subsequently the interior would then lose heat slowly and shrink, what would then happen to the crust do yo...

Re: Long Hair
Short hair is a fairly new fad in the US, its only been around since WWII. Before that shoulder length for men was very normal. Granted, women wore it even longer, but the difference wasn't as drastic.
