Re: The Hooked X
Kbs, I'm really enjoying these links. Thanks so much. About the "Calendar" rings of standing stones in Fell's book - and the calendar-oriented structures - is there any controversy about those? I mean, I'm always hearing that about structures and rings all over the place - Europe, the whol...

There is no way for me to evaluate his assertions though. What do people think? What do *you* think? Do any mainstream people buy into this? I see q...

Museum of Man - San Diego
Hiya all. I'm going to be in the San Diego area next week and am thinking of checking out the Museum of Man there. Does anyone know it? Do you recommend it? Any must-sees? I heard there was a cool exhibit that takes you through the earliest hominids up to today.

Re: Lower Danube Civilization 5K years ago - exhibit in NY
I got the catalog for this exhibit for xmas. It's gorgeous - a huge hardback with tons of color pics and many long chapters of info. I thought $50 was a bit pricey until I received it. Well worth the money and apparently the biggest compilation in English of info on "Old Europe" - specific...

Ishtar, I sent a PM to you at Ishtar's Gate requesting a copy too. I might have messed it up though - clicked the wrong button or put the wrong address or something. Did you get it? Same name there.

Re: Lower Danube Civilization 5K years ago - exhibit in NY
No, but it seems to me that the guys covered by the exhibit linked above might have/probably did. There's no mention of it in the article and they even say there's no evidence of big religious sites! This is a little question that's bugging me and I can't find any info. Oh well, will have to wait fo...
