I think the questions that he asks are valid.
Will we live long enough to see any definitive answers???

Re: Homo naledi had fire [!]
Welp... Prof Berger made his big announcement yesterday & it was surprising, as expected. What he announced, about Homo naledi: 1. Fire (that was the teaser from 6 months ago) 2. Deliberate burial vs body disposal (hole dug, dead person planted in hole, hole refilled) 3. Ritual treatment of the...

Thanks min! I enjoyed the video. It is very well balanced & fair, examining the evidence without bias.

It's really hard to take a website seriously when it's riddled with misspellings, grammatical errors & editorial errors. If these people are so very erudite, why is their website on par with the offerings of a sixth grader? 0

North Face Corridor or Chamber
Has anyone been following the news releases pertaining to the results of the Scan Pyramids project? They recently released video footage & still photos of the interior of the "Small Void" directly behind the chevrons on the north face of the Great Pyramid. There are two YouTube channe...

Homo naledi had fire [!]
This shouldn't be surprising considering the relatively 'young' dates for H naledi... A YT vlogger that I follow states that Lee Berger tweeted on Twitter that the use of fire wasn't even close to the latest surprising revelations about H naledi. There are supposed to be three other new development...

Re: Hail, Sponsian...
Awesome! It's weird to think that Sponsian was forced by circumstances beyond his control to try to keep up the status quo until he could safely evacuate that garrison. (?) I guess that desperate times require desperate measures? This is such an odd set of circumstances. Who'da thunk it?

Hah!
The ivory used to make the comb was most likely imported from elephants in Egypt, suggesting the material was destined for someone rich enough to afford a foreign luxury.

Re: Archaeology is where you find it.
Why not trade from the south? The ivory could possibly be from African elephants, rather than from Asian elephants. Canaan was a vassal state of Egypt for much of its history.

Re: Italy unearths exceptional haul of ancient bronzes
I'm not terribly interested in (or "up on") Roman history, but when did the Romans begin to absorb the Etruscans into their culture? The Romans emerged about 700 bce, right? And the Etruscans were the older culture... I guess what I'm getting at is that the recent finds, which date from a...
