Re: Dr. Robert Cargill rips

Ah yes, Simcha - love how he progresses in his dcumentaries like this: "If.... then..... maybe.... THEREFORE!" LOL.

I love the guy (Jacobovici), but Im learning he is no archaeologist, brilliant guy, great ideas sometimes, but I have found he can be quite misleading.

Re: Use of Micah in SA temples

Im willing to jump on a bandwagon - beriefly. But I jump off when common sense tells me to. Ive seen 4 or 5 episodes of that show and the IDEAS are GOOD - just not necessarily accurate. LOL.

Re: Use of Micah in SA temples

Yes, it was Thehotihuacan. When you say smaller quantities, how much are you talking about? Why would they be using this when the only obvious practical reason (to our minds at least) was for electricity or an electric barrier?

Religious thought

I am very very VERY interested in early religion, having studied the Bible for years. I seeitof course as being writtenvery specifically for a certain audience. Goblekli Tepe, for instance fascinates me. I am noticing in my first hour or so browsing these forums (You cats have been busy!) that there...

Re: Graham Phillips' Moses Legacy

Now, has anyone actually READ THE BOOK :) ? If you have not, this guy's reasoning, based on archaeological/historical evidence that IS empirical, is REALLY REALLY solid. I am convinced he is on to something, and I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in the origins of Judaism/Islam/Christ...

Yeah that guy left me clueless. What I wanted was someone who actually READ THE BOOK. Did you actually read it, uniface?
