Re: Narragansett Bay Runestone Vanishes

That's okay. I've pretty much given up on the History Channel anyway. They seem to have abandoned "history." I'll say. They opted for sensationalism long ago. The episode of Wolter's series dealing with the Narragansett stone was well done, but I find his theories to be too far fetched, especially ...

Re: Narragansett Bay Runestone Vanishes

My apologies, Minimalist. I have no clue why I failed to see your reply till now. I always assumed it was done by barge and crane, but if you saw the episode of "America Uncovered" that dealt with the Narragansett stone, and which aired on History 2 on March 1st, there is evidence it was done by lan...

Narragansett Bay Runestone Vanishes

Happened in July, 2012. Featured in "The Hooked X" and the History Channel "documentary" The Holy Grail in America. Found by a shell fisherman in 1984. I published an article in which the world was informed of the stones' existence as well as the first photos of the inscription. I located it based o...

Meteor Impact Injures Hundred

I see where this forum is big on impact events. What happened today is an extraordinary coincidence given the close passage of a Near Earth Asteroid at about 2:30pm Eastern time Friday Feb. 15. I've maintained a meteorite collection since the early 80's. This will likely rank as one of the most hist...

Re: Bigfoot DNA

Here's the latest. Would not really call it peer reviewed as such, until more is known, but a lot of people put their names out there. Rather hard to believe these cute little things  would have originated in the manner described. Personally, I've never had a problem believing that Sasquatch mi...

Re: More Evidence to Support the Solutrean Hypothesis

The biface dredged up off Virginia is the Cinmar Blade. While it did come up with mastodon bones, it only means they came up in the same net on a scallop trawler, so there is no real context between mastodon, and it's 20,000+ year age, and blade. Stanford and Bradley have recorded the existence of 1...
