Hmmm.... Well. My recollection is that modern humans (those pesky Cro-Magnons, Frank!) arose 100,000 years ago in Africa and spread from there. So, a find dating to 135,000 years ago in California means these were not Homo Sapiens or the "Out of Africa" theory needs some serious work. I don't seem t...

If you aren't older than 56, I'm not going to call you "old." :D

Welcome to the discussion and that's a good point. There has clearly been some genetic intermingling going on.

LOL.

There is a way to adjust the security settings for this site on your computer. I can't think of a safer-for-work site on the whole internet than Archaeologica.Org!

You know, Frank, I don't have the logging out problem that you do. In fact, I haven't had to log in since I first joined the site. Is it possible that your 'cookies' are not set properly for the site to 'remember' you?

Okay, guys, this may be of interest. Would be nice if Ken were still around to chip in on this. http://www.vanguardnewsnetwork.com/index272.htm#preclovis It is easy to see where the opposition to an alternate or new view of the peopling of the Americas comes from. Many anthropologists and archaeolog...

My question is how can they call "creationism" science?

When you live in a world where a war hero gets crucified while a REMF gets a free pass for hiding out in Texas, anything is possible.

Welcome aboard.

ROTFLMAO!

Maybe you have to go by the tone of their voice, Frank?

I don't know how you prove something like this unless you find some 20,000 year old European skulls that have been crushed and dumped in a mass grave. I do recall reading something about DNA analysis indicating inter-breeding between Europeans and Native Americans, but, I won't say more on the subje...
