Re: Valsequillo 2: Revenge of the Diatoms

In the video Dr. Waters referred to a drawing of the stratigraphy of the site, is there a recent paper available that details this information?

I have searched Google Scholar.

Lake Bonneville catastrophically emptied through Redrock into t...

...more than 13,000 years old... That would be calender years or approximately 10.9 RCYBP, the beginning of the YDC, the end of Clovis time, and a thousand years after Monte Verde, Swan Point, and Meadowcroft. Of course, the vague "more than" is what is of great interest, Paisley Cave and...

Re: Vero Beach II (!)

You do remember correctly.

A S Dyke 2004

This paper is the best one for the general position of the ice sheet at different stages, note that dates are in radiocarbon years.

Folsum time was "neatly" in the YDC.

Re: Vero Beach II (!)

Here is the original story by Florida State Geologist, at the time, E. H. Sellards, 1916: Eighth Annual Report pdf page 152 is where the article starts. In the deep dark recesses of my memory I seem to recall that Frank Leverett published on this too, at the time, but I can't seem to find it, yet. L...

Re: But Still Clinging to the "Land Bridge"

Depositional settings do vary, which is what makes understanding the taphonomy so important.
