Re: This guy has his head on straight
What I have seen is that those communities that respect ancient Native American sacred sites prosper, while those that don't fail. Perhaps its a sign of intelligence, or of some fundamental moral qualities of the community leaders. That feeling of continuity is of great emotional value for all of t...

Re: This guy has his head on straight
Their low taxes aren't just for "wealthy patrons". Employers are leaving California in droves for Arizona, Nevada and Texas. My son's company just laid off 400 people here in California because we consider historic sites and political correctness sacrosanct, and hired 400 new employees the...

Re: EP Will Love This

Re: This guy has his head on straight
I know this predates the primary subject of this post, but I, being somewhat ignorant of the way this forum is organized and having been unable to find something to reply to regarding the Anasizi that hasn't been archived, will post my comments here. In the late '60s and early '70s, as a student inv...

Re: Boats Taken For Granted!
Note-A barge is not an ocean going boat Actually, I have a friend with a cement sailboat who has sailed it all over the world. I didn't volunteer to go with him. But I don't see early man, no matter how great his knapping skills, making a boat out of a boulder... or maybe we have just been thinking...

Re: Boats Taken For Granted!
"There are no known depictions of water craft in Pleisotcene art, and no physical remains suggestive of navigation older than 10 500 year have ever been found. Thank you for that info. Depictions in art would be evidence. Still wondering about the earliest. Once you have sail power, you're goo...
