And as the article said at the end:

"the step from greed to fraud is as small in science as in other walks of life."

Even back then the almighty dollar reared its ugly head, times haven't changed that much have they.

Ish, these would go great with the shoes from the other thread.

Problem is, what to wear with them? Jeans? Sweats?

OK, first off. Good shoes are a must. Here's my suggestion: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a91/gillharley/funnies/Ladies_High_Heel_Shoes.jpg They would look great and fit in very well while excavating Cleopatra's tomb. Preferred by 1 out of 100 female archaeologists. But they are soooooooo cool.

I don't know about the UK but on this side all men like to depict themselves with large you-know-whats. They're born with that mind-set, because it's their prized possesion.

The channel over here that showed Time Team stopped a few years back. I have e-mailed them asking to get the show back, but then I'm just one little old lady. I saw a program not long ago that said that reason that HSN's had to thrust their spears was because they populated areas that were forested ...

I looks a lot like it could come from this side of the pond, but then if you look at the Sammis (maybe it has only 1 m) their music and patterns in blankets and such, are all very much like what you would find in many N.A. tribes. I know that the Sammis are from the northern parts of Norway and Swed...

I will certainly be waiting to see pictures. Back in the 19&*(&%*%s when I majored in Anthropology at UCLA, they would spend a couple of weeks up in the Calico area to learn how to dig. Of course, that was way before it became famous (or was it infamous?) Anyway, we were suppose to learn how...

It's not nice to be mean to the mentally disabled. After all Simcha not only thinks of himself as an archaeologist but a "naked" one at that. All he has to do is open his mouth and he proves just how little he knows. But then, he is out to prove the O.T. is true and he will go to any lengt...

Can't remember the brand. But considering that my b.f. and I were both poor working stiffs from north of the border and our friends were mostly students from the University of Mexico, I'll guarantee the we didn't spend a hell of a lot. And Min, by the time we finished the second bottle, I think we d...
