Oh! Maybe it should be in the New World Section..

The caustic comment on the archaeologist's back ground was just pointing out the irony of the system.

Really not feeling this one so much. Sediment dating can be impacted by a lot of variables. I do find this location interesting because from time to time in my youth I was known to frequent the high desert around this area during my exhaustive research into sex, nudity, and drug use at high desert h...

Re: Did modern humans come out Africa 120k years ago via Arabia?

I do not disagree with that specific. I do not know the paper really makes the case for 120KY ago. Just disagree that the timing is not important. This area was where HS and HN first cohabited. 40KY more or less could make a lot of difference to how long they cohabited, what the relationship was, an...

We are still trying to figure out who was who there, and timelines. http://www.voanews.com/english/news/middle-east/Centuries-Old-Cave-Reveals-Secrets-of-Ancient-Humans-114637989.html Any information from this area could b...

Why don't you guys ever take me seriously?

Surf boards, Damn it!

Really, If a surfer could figure it out, so could HE

Maybe aout 6,000 Years is the limits on how long wood lasts?

I work in downtown Stockton. So many great buildings from the early 20th century. They do not know what they have. The only thing saving them is the city does not have the money to tear them down!

Certainly something to the idea that relegion is self serving...

Perhaps early man just had a desire to understand the forces of nature around him, like lighting, and the cycle of the moon and sun. Stuff we MOSTLY understand now.
