Re: Ancient flute....
http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h298/LL3850/slov1flute.jpg This portion of a flute was found in a cave in Slovenia. It is around 43,000 yrs. old. Since there is no context in which it could have been made by so-called "moderns". the Club states that it is not a flute at all. Experts fro...

New Server
Very nice - upgraded server. Thanks much. The link in the news section still goes to the old link, but that probably helps get the word out for the time being.
Min, obviously my right hand is better.

These articles are always frustrating. I did a search for an actual report, abstract, or pdf, and found nothing. This has the potential to be big news, but they didn't give us any news at all. I'm guessing their were no human remains, but humans always leave their trash around. Artifacts could tell ...

Hi Paul Marc, I don't share all of your views, but we once had some heated discussions here about the famous Olmec heads. I maintain that the one looks distinctly African, although not all of them do. If you haven't already, you might take a look at Pedra Furada in Brazil. I'm becoming more open to ...

Great point Min. This guy writing the article is just off base I think. We've always known (or think we've known), that the birth canal is more forward thrusting and slimmer because that's the price we pay for bipedalism. So I think he's on the wrong track. Plus he wasn't working with a complete fem...

Some time ago I recall reading a suggestion that the early tree-dwellers were forced to abandon the trees because climate change thinned the forests making it impossible for those tree-dwellers to stay aloft. There's a certain logic to it if you apply Darwin's idea that a population has to be under...
