Why O Why Does This Board Keep Crashing?

As per the subject line WTH??

I suppose a person could say it's worth what they pay for it but that's tad cynical but do I wonder how interest can be kept up with seemingly constant service interruptions.

BBS's get attacked hackers & bots on a nearly non-stop basis. They'd have to have someone monitoring this site continuously to catch it all. Sucks, I know, but that's what I've seen with various boards over the years. There's far too many idiots & assholes with too much time on their hands making internet hell for the rest of us.

It is a problem, Sam.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Well Guys, being a party of one, the board and the website will be replaced, updated, fixed when I have the time. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm trying to work on it. :oops:

it;s certainly my fault.

But now has new machine ... 4 times as fast (well the CPU is, not sure that will translate to a better experience).

anyway, also working to get the latest phpbb up and running too.
