Min - I swear, and you've been here all day, I have ignored that fellow. And he has been nipping at my heels all day - but I have ignored him. But then when I'm greeting a new member - well - I gave that member the same advice that you're giving me now. And it's good advice.

Sound idea.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
Here's an idea. If you have a disagreement and you have to resort to personal attacks, do it in a PM. That way the rest of us don't have to wade through the BS to get to the actual discussion.

Marduk is our resident expert on Sumeria and he has convinced me at least that he does know what he's talking about
i would disagree with this as all he does is make declatory statements and still does notprovide links, references or sources to back them up.
case in point: his comment on the hebrew usage of the word 'eden' all he said was the hebrews borrowed it from the Babylons but provided nothing to back up the statement. though he can't prove it is beside the point, the fact that he makes such statements without qualifiers or links undermines any expertise people think he has.
since Marduk has returned he has actually made an effort to get along with everyone
i have noticed this as well as i still read topics that are interesting to me, though those are few now-a-days.
