see here is where the notch for the thumb is, so you can get a better grip"AARGH

When I was in Texas I also found that some of them are right-handed or left-handed. That was an eye-opener.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

I agree WA. Charlie's photos are well done. The coloring is curious to me though. Charlie, are you color enhancing some of your photos or perhaps using colored lights?
Morning, Monk. One of the two lamps I'm using has a shade that casts a yellowish hue. I need to either take the shade off or buy another lamp. $$$
Charlie;

I was a photo major in a previous life. Matching the color temperature of the film you are using to the type of lighting (sunlight, incandescent, florescent, etc.) should take care of most of your color concerns. It’s a lot simpler than it sounds. Any photo shop can help you.

I'm into cultural anthropology, a.o., and my avatar displays a prime research subject.

That's your call, Charlie: if I took offense of your avatar where someone (you?) proudly displays a murdered animal I would do exactly the same thing.

Image

It's exactly like the Danish 'anti-muslim' cartoons: some people decide they feel offended. Others don't. There's nothing I can do about someone else feeling offended. That's their choice. And there's nothing I want to do about that either: free choice. For them and for me.

See you around!

Did I miss something - what happened here? Does this mean no more rocks??? I may get withdrawal symptoms.

Possibly getting some disapproving looks at work when I scroll past Rokcet's avatar... still I guess I shouldn't be surfing.....

Equally - Charlie's murdered animal never offended me and I'm vegan.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. No individual is entitled to force an opinion, or a behavior, on another individual.
Only nation states can (en)force – by law, within their jurisdiction! – individuals' behavior. Not their opinion!

I guess I'll now simply have to wait for Charlie's bifacial hand axes to make headlines in the mass-market media placing HE squarely in (North) America, a half million years earlier than the currently accepted hypothesis put the first hominids there!

No more advance peeks... :cry:
