Nope its not... :) i have seen so many petitions regarding it, even i had to go and explain it to my own wife and make her understand, it's not the end of the world as yet.

Let's not forget that they did the battle of Stirling Bridge without the bridge.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Apparently, its not a popular movie in Iran.
Iranians really need to understand that most Americans can't even find Iran on a map ... let alone Persia (clue for most Yanks -- it's not there anymore). Isn't Farsi a brand name for binoculars? Spartans are a bit vague, but most women I've known are intimately familiar with Trojans! :D

Sad but true.... a lot of Americans can't find Canada on a map.

besides which
that wasn't a criticism of the peoples themselves but the way that they are depicted in hollywood
