Digit, protestants ARE christians (perhaps some catholics may disagree, I don't know).

I think Marduk is relying on a literal interpretation of the word rather than an a religious affiliation.

if you had you'd realise that God gave me special dispensation to break all of the ten commandments in relation to my parents
except the one about coveting my neighbours ox
that just makes me want to do it more though
typical sneaky trick
he pulled the same one on adam and eve you know
"do whatever you want but don't touch that apple"
this from the guy who allegedly designed human nature
cruel
so cruel

Doesn't enter into what I said earlier. Like it or not what we were raised with was based on what society at the time generally agreed was the 'correct' way, and that was based on years of Christian dogma, RC or Prot is irrelevant.
An Indian raised in a Hindu home will still be influenced by the Hindu culture even if they don't practise the religion later. Rarely can you divorce yourself from your upbringing.

On the basis that I was raised in a Jewish family and rejected that way of life at an early age I concur with you Steve. But to pretend that my upbringing has not influenced me would be ridiculous, and that upbringing is what makes me what I am.
The same must apply to you if only on the basis that you reject it and that rejection will colour your view.
A human child raised by Wolves remains a Wolf at heart.
If you have children you will try to raise them with the standards that you believe in and for 2000yrs those standards have been Christian in Britain, even being raised in a Jewish household I lived in a basically Christian society and must have been influenced by it.

so you like copmplicated candlesticks and you don't like Bacon then

christianity didn't exist 200 years ago
Jesus didn't have any followers when he was seven

and no I don't agree
I was raised Protestant
which people call the church of england
that means basically that you don't need to go to church and you still get into heaven
you don't need to understand anything about religion and its still stamped in your passport
if you think the C of E is a real religion Digit then youre wrong
it had no influence over my upbringing at all
none

Arch, more than once, has denied that Catholics are christians.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

That's fairly retarded. How did Archie come to that conclusion?
