Re: Haplotype

Post by NAeuroMUT »

[/Hi Mut. So you are likely yDNA R1b1c something or other. Can you give me your particular sub-clade beyond that designation? I am the same yDNA haplotype with a U5a mtDNA. Makes me a CroMagnon, the closest thing to a Neanderthal you'll see (my friends and enemies would agree) In other words, hi cousin! :D[quote\]

Thanks for the welcome cus. Do you have a knob at the base of your skull too? :lol:

The actual break down is a bit confusing for me. I have based my previous post on information provided by an analysis that is automated. I am not aware of the nuts and bolts in the automation so I can not say for sure. But the following is that break down. Perhaps it will make more sense to you.

DYS19 / 394 = 14DYS388 = 12DYS389i = 13DYS390 = 25DYS391 = 11DYS393 / 395 = 13DYS426 = 12DYS437 / 457 = 14DYS438 = 13DYS439 / GATA A4 = 13DYS442 = 12DYS444 = 12DYS445 = 12DYS446 = 13DYS447 = 25DYS448 = 18DYS449 = 30DYS452 = 30DYS453 = 11DYS454 = 10DYS455 = 11DYS456 = 16DYS458 = 15DYS459a = 9DYS459b = 10DYS460 / GATA A7 1 = 11DYS461 / GATA A7 2 = 12DYS462 = 11DYS463 = 24DYS464a = 15DYS464b = 15DYS464c = 16DYS464d = 17DYS468 = 29DYS481 = 25DYS484 = 13DYS518 = 19DYS522 = 11DYS527a = 19DYS527b = 22DYS531 = 11DYS557 = 16DYS570 = 17DYS588 = 18DYS607 = 19DYS614 = 26DYS635 = 23DYS644 = 16DYS710 = 14DYS711 = 30GATA A10 = 15GATA H4 = 12YCA IIa = 19YCA IIb = 23

I should point out, the analysis stated that it is a R1b weak match. But it does not provide any other conclusions of the run. So I guess this is the best result given the information.

As I stated before. The X has not been completed.

Hi Mut. Here are my yDNA markers as received a year ago:

DYS19 / 394 = 14 (Match)
DYS385a = 11
DYS385b = 14
DYS388 = 12 (Match)
DYS389i = 13 (Match)
DYS389ii = 29
DYS390 = 25
DYS391 = 12 (Yours is 11)
DYS392 = 13
DYS393 / 395 = 13
DYS426 = 12
DYS437 / 457 = 15 (Yours is 14)
DYS438 = 12 (Yours is 13)
DYS439 / GATA A4 = 14 (Yours is 13))
DYS441 = 12
DYS442 = 12 (Match)
DYS445 = 14 (Yours is 12)
DYS446 = 13 (Match)
DYS448 = 19 (Yours is 18 )
DYS449 = 29 (Yours is 30)
DYS452 = 30 (Match)
DYS453 = 11 (Match)
DYS454 = 10 (Match)
DYS456 = 15 (Yours is 16)
DYS458 = 15 (Match)
DYS459a = 9 (Match)
DYS459b = 9 (Yours is 10)
DYS460 / GATA A7 1 = 11 (Match)
DYS461 / GATA A7 2 = 12 (Match)
DYS462 = 11 (Match)
DYS464a = 15 (Match)
DYS464b = 15 (Match)
DYS464c = 16 (Match)
DYS464d = 17 (Match)
DYS484 = 13 (Match)
DYS522 = 11 (Match)
DYS531 = 11 (Match)
DYS557 = 16 (Match)
DYS588 = 18 (Match)
DYS635 = 23 (Match)
GATA A10 = 15 (Match)
GATA C4 = 23
GATA H4 = 11 (Yours is 12)
YCA IIa = 19 (Match)
YCA IIb = 23 (Match)

You and I have 38 similar markers between us. Of those, 28 match while 10 are off by generally one position. Our paternal lines converge to the same ancestor, but I cannot recall how many generations back it would take (I'll find out). We are a close match and I would like to know where your ancestors originated (by PM if possible). Conclusion: You are Atlantic Modal Haplotype with a Neanderthal somewhere in the wood pile. :D

It is indeed a small world. I've never tried having my DNA analysed, I've always been too afraid that the Bishop of Oxford was correct about on which side I was related to monkeys. :lol:

dna analysis

If you plug your numbers into the search base at SMFG or Ysearch or Ybase, you can find out who else matches you, how far away the match is and from what country their furtherest known ancestor hails. Great fun.
Found out my mild mannered dad was a maurading Viking. He was so pleased. Bought him a horned hat.

Thank you. I've completed most of my NA genealogy but I've never been genetically tested. I might have to get around to that.

I recently joined this site and have found some rather startling results regarding my strand. I am not hawking it, but I thought it relevent to the thread.

I am of the R haplotype from my paternal line that covers most of Indoeurope, and the Celtic Isles. But interestingly, there is also strong Asian influence from as far away as Japan in my line. I guess someone in my father's ancestry got around a bit :)
I paid for the test a month ago, but my logon says the results wont be ready til november. How'd you get results so fast?
