Happy End of the World Eve!

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

Thanks to the errors of Dionysius Exiguus the year 2012 should have been five years ago.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Well....
Since I am typing this Sat AM I am either 24 hours late or early.

Seriously, the best analogy to somewhat modern times I have heard was that what the calendar did was similar to what the old 5 digit auto odometers did when they got to 99999.
They "rolled over" to 00000.

It was a big deal.
Photos were taken.
Six packs were drunk.
And the world and the car went on.

The New Agers need something to fret about.
