Is that animal as small as it appears to be? If it was 50-60 years old at the time of death, it must be a mature specimen. How do they account for it's size? Island dwarfism? So many questions, so few answers.

I thought the same thing ..but they explain that they only have a portion of the animal.two of the four legs and front part of the body .The rest was above the frozen layer and most likely scavenged by animals ..or Desnovians ha ha hacircumspice wrote:Is that animal as small as it appears to be? Their hair color's been known for 100 years+
The Explorers' Club in NYC ate steaks from one found still frozen in Siberia at one of their banquets -- in 1910, if memory serves. Theodore Roosevelt & Co.
