An editors complaint

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

An editors complaint

Post by kbs2244 »

Maybe a little too much "inside baseball" for some, but I found it very enlightening for those of us that depend on the "popular media" to interrupt news releases from various sources.

I never realized there was a "rhythm" to the timing of various subjects.
Monday is from those guys, Tuesday is from these guys, etc.

Or, getting to the reason for this editorial, that reporters could be restricted from consulting other "outside experts" on the subject before writing their story.

By the editor of Scientific American, no less.

Maybe I will just wait for the second round of info on a subject.

You are off subject. This belongs in an entirely different category. Pay attention!

I couldn't find a better forum.
I put it here because S A is a U S publication and he was complaining about what seems to be a U S problem.

Maybe he meant that you should post this in the Everything Else Forum?...

You are right.
My bad.
I can only say I rarely go that far down the display.
I do not mind it being moved if needed.

I do think it is an interesting insight into the news release world though.
