In truth it is more of a philosophy than a religion. I don't know how or when it became a religion. I've known Japanese who practiced both Christianity and Buddhism, they used their Buddhist 3 Right Paths to make them better Christians. A couple of Southern Baptist women we worked with were sure they were going to hell, because they said the girls were mocking their conversion by not giving up their old beliefs. Go figure. Buddhists are probably more tolerant of religion than the religious are of Buddism.

Speaking of which....Arch managed to get himself banned from Koko's...a site with a no-banning policy which I imagine they will have to change!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Just to add my 2 cents to this conversation I have neighbors that moved in next door and made a total display of themselves annoucing what wonderful Fundamentalist Christians they were. I just head they are moving. I only can hope we get some heathens that buy that house. Multiply Arch about 10 times and that is what they are. My favorite all time experience was driving home and seeing a sign in their yard that showed Man + Woman + child equal a Christian Family.
Any religion that wants to ram their belief system down your throat is dangerous whether it was 5,000 years ago or today.
Donna
Or the barbarian next door according my neighbors.

Are you sure they didn't move into the Governor's Mansion?

Do you know where he will go yet?
No. He got banned from a Christian Forum, too. Even they couldn't stand him. He really has nudged past Marduk for the title of "Biggest Nut."

Were you actually banned or did you just refuse not to post porn?
