From yesterdays news page.

http://news.ufl.edu/2012/05/03/giant-beasts/

New UF study shows early North Americans lived with extinct giant beasts
researchers show modern humans in North America co-existed with large extinct mammals about 13,000 years ago, including mammoths, mastodons and giant ground sloths

Now they have gone and done it.
The local casino owners will now want to confiscate the bones and rebury them with “respect.”

Just got in from a week in hospital, where I was asked if I would want to be resuscitated and found this! Thanks kb! :(

To be honest Min I said no if I was to end up in a vegative state, otherwise, yes.
Mind you, I was on a Morphine drip! :D

I didn't get a choice! I'm covered in bruises from injections and phlebotomies, I've had so many probes on my chest that I've lost most of the hair removing them!
At one point I had three canulas in my arms and so many bruises they were injecting into my abdomen.
But there were some funny times as well.
The first time the consultant came to me he took one step inside my room and no further, as he turned to leave I winked at the nurse and used two forefingers for the Hex sign.
She burst into giggles and he turned back as she stifled her giggles and I looked innocent!
I wasn't allowed to use any hospital facilities and they wanted me to use a commode, I pointed out to my nurse that I had explosive diarrhea and that the bowl was only about 4 inches deep. I told her that when it hits the fan you'll all get it!
Food was left on a trolley just inside the door and pushed to me by a nurse as I was limited to very little movement by virtue of various leads. For days my world was of 6 ft radius.
One thing I learnt about myself was that I could never handle a cellular prison sentence!

Lepers are treated hospitably compared to that.

Glad you were able to make a little of your own fun, though.

I can get myself intp a lot trouble on occasion Min. A nurse paused at my door with a urine bottle in her hand and smiled at me.
I smiled back and said, I prefer coffee!
She said, you don't recognise me?
I apologised, I didn't.
I attended you in theatre, you're looking much better.
I agreed and thanked her, shortly afterwoods she reappeared with a mug of coffee and 2 pieces of toast!
I didn't want the toast, but I would have eaten it if it choked me!

Much better thanks, the only problem is my PR being kept low means life in the slow lane, how long for/permanent I've yet to find out.
Time will tell!
