if marduk is giving it a thumbs down,it must be done well, though the theory may be on the fringe.I'll watch it too. Sounds interesting

i hope you can give me a good synopsis since i don't have access to that channel here.
Do you have a DVD player? I can burn a copy of the recording I make.
Oddly, the first person who I ever saw make an analogy to the Hyksos and the exodus was Finkelstein. He treated it is as a "garbled memory" and there certainly was a 'conquest' because Ahmose pursued them into Canaan and took revenge.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

PM a mailing address.
There are different DVD formats but I'll see if my burner has a "universal" setting or something. If not, most really modern DVD players can be reset to view any DVD format.

If your school has an IT department, check with someone to find out if the equipment is compatible with DVD+R or DVD-R.
Good players should be able to handle both but sometimes schools are not up to date.

From "Old Testament Timers" by R. K. Harrison pg. 65
"Until recent times, the Hurrians were known only through the Biblical references, but archaeological discoveries have proved thatthey were a powerful people who became most prominent in the Mitanni kingdom (c. 1470-1350). In the second millenium they built up the city of Nuzu intoa provincial center, and the culture they established there, as revealed in a wealth of clay tablets, had important links with the Patriarchal period as described in Genesis."
again archaeology proves the biblical record which then gives credence to those activities some archaeologists deny.

You continue to ignore the political realities of the Ottoman Empire. This is not the first time you have made that observation.
Westerners spent 1800 years either quaking in fear of Islamic expansion or trying to stamp it out via 'Crusades.' There are two primary reasons why Western Scholars were not able to find evidence of earlier cultures.
One- For most of this time there were no Western Scholars worthy of the name!
Two- They were not given permission by Ottoman authorities to excavate until relatively recent times. As soon as they did so they promptly found these "mysterious cultures". One wonders if the Turks who were living there either knew or cared but to continually claim the bible as some sort of super tour guide is nonsense.
Besides, the Hittites continued as a recognizable ethnic identity well into the historical period (when even your precious Hebrews had learned to write!) and were not finally taken out until the Assyrians did so c. 715 BC.
There is thus nothing mystical or magical in your Precious Book of Fairy Tales mentioning them. They served as an object lesson for those who would have opposed Assyrian expansion....much like Israel. Judah, of course, collaborated with the Assyrians and thus survived....for a while.

even if they were allowed to go and dig earlier, it wouldn't change the fact that the Bible was the first reference source to mention the civilization which was dismissed because it was in the Bible. thus when they did go in and dig, they were left with more embarrassing moments when the Bible was proven correct. Again. You continue to ignore the political realities of the Ottoman Empire. This is not the first time you have made that observation.

that the Bible was the first reference source to mention
Wrong.
The Hittites were extensively mentioned in the Amarna letters. For that matter, we have Hittite records of correspondence with Egypt written centuries before the Israelites existed. You continually confuse the fact that the West could not read them until Champollion deciphered hieroglyphics with the fact that they were not "known" outside of the bible.
Had someone been thoughtful enough to translate the Amarna letters into Greek and then Latin we would have been reading them for millenia.
