Are there any like that in North America?
They are much younger here in America. Remember that the NA were still living in the stone age here when europ[eans got here. The bow had only been around for a few hundred years when non-natives came here.
So the NA had in fact not progressed since they crossed the Bering Land Bridge at the end of the last ice age? What was wrong with those dudes? The rest of Homo Sapiens Sapiens was darn busy building and destroying civilizations one after another, but the NA just sat there watching the bison herds grazing in their millions? C'mon! Why the inertia in development?
And don't blame it on the white man or his booze, 'cause they weren't around!

Must have been those damned Alpha males.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

They say the necessity is the mother of invention. Maybe life was just too easy and they didn't need to invent anything to make it easier. There was plenty of bison and enough cliffs to run them off. Population still small enough that they were able to augment the hunting with gathering. Good life = no need to invent another weapon.
