Trading
Charlie, you must realize that ancient people were too stupid to trade. Besides, they were all running around naked without haircuts and trying to figure out how to create fire. They were busy, already! Sheesh!I don't know why, it's not a difficult concept: "I'll give you some of this if you'll give me some of that".

Who, me?
Who, me?Where in the heck have you been, Bro?

First, it was off to Modesto for soccer nationals ... the girls made it to the semi-finals before being popped 1-0. Then, our family went to the Sierras near Bridgeport, CA where we camped right next to a drunk-fest. My 13yo daughter came down with the flu so I broke camp to take her home and get some sleep. I'll let you know if I'm still married when wifey returns with the rest of the family.

I had an interesting discussion with Christiansen at Calico before leaving that I'll share with you by PM.

I'm happy to be back annoying everyone here, terrorizing my enemies and one friend at home, exasperating my family, and being a general nuisance to all persons I encounter.

Incoming
Charlie, it's Mr. Peckerwood, please. I was concerned about the warm and sticky weather in Houston until it hit 116 degrees F here yesterday (that's 46.7C for others here). If I can survive that, I can survive Texas. I need to wait on making arrangements until after a Boeing 767 is released to Africa (either next week or the following), and then we can coordinate a time.Whatever, Peckerwood. You know you have an open invite!!
Get your butt over here...soon!!

Nothing that bad here, though it is humid as hell. Anytime, just let me know
I have a friend in Charleston, SC who told me the other day that the humidity was 110.
When I told her that humidity could not go above 100% she wrote back...
DON"T ARGUE WITH ME!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

People get so bitchy when it's hot and humid.
