Er... yes, yes, that was my other suggestion. Obviously.Charlie Hatchett wrote:The Mayan eccentrics are very cool.War Arrow wrote:Curious shaped blade there in the post before last. May be getting carried away but it vaguely reminded me of Mayan eccentric flints, albeit in cruder form:

ie - something with a more ceremonial (?) than practical purpose. Just a thought.
I don't know, my first thoughts are the local piece is some kind of skinning/ gutting blade with a "gut hook" (some modern hunting knives have these).

Back when home-schooling meant something!Charlie Hatchett wrote:Definitely.I'd imagine it was a common skill back then.
Jr. didn't go to school. He just hung out with mom and dad all day. And I'm sure they put his ass to work, while, at the same time they were teaching him the survival skills he'd need when he became an adult.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Hey Charlie - thought I'd drop in and leave you with this video. I like it, but I think you may have been in the audience.Charlie Hatchett wrote:Hey Monk!
Yeah, I like STP and most Hard Rock and Classic Rock. I can do without the real Heavy Metal stuff, though: the guitar solos sound like "diarrhea of the hand". Glad you're enjoying the videos. It's been kind of a random, creative outlet.
Good to hear from you, Bro.

I bet Feidel could explain to us how thawing and freezing did that.
(Sorry, Charlie....that's in another thread.)
