Second Temple-Era Tomb uncovered

Archaeologists excavating north of Jerusalem have found a piece of a sarcofagus - a stone coffin - belonging to a son of a High Priest. The visible inscription reads, "the son of the High Priest" - but the words before it are broken off. It thus cannot be ascertained which High Priest is referred to, nor the name or age of the deceased.

Many other findings in the excavation are from the late Second Temple period, and archaeologists assume that the High Priest in question lived between 30 and 70 C.E.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Well,
I guess we know there was a priesthood and that they were not celibate.
And, maybe, not all their sons were priests.
And, maybe, “Moslem” builder didn’t want either name ever known.
And, for sure, that news release timing is not unrelated to political/religious spin.

Sorry, kb, but I find that rather prejudicial. Especially in light of the fact that it could just as easily have been Xtians that did it. They ruled the place for centuries in medieval times! Or maybe simply another jew who had an axe to grind with the high priest('s family). Etc. etc.
I.o.w. for now it could have been just any cause, and I therefore consider it not kosher to point at only one party (of many possible candidates).

My lawyer tought me the use of words like "maybe."
You may be correct on all points.
Or I may be.
Or neither.
