4 months in the desert?

Car break down??
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

let's get this back ontrack a little:
"We're hoping to exchange information with doctors who've dealt with similar cases anywhere in the world," said Chen, head of the orthopedics department at Shanghai Children's Medical Center. "This is so rare that we have virtually no information to go on
how do doctors know if this isn't a part of the evolutionary process? what gives humans the right to decide what is evolution and what isn't? why is evolution only good for debate and not practicality?

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/ ... 9494.shtml

we have see so many babies joined together recently, how do evolutionists explain the phenomenom? why, if the species is evolving, do we not see humans accepting these changes?

to you these may be poor questions but let's face it, when push comes to shove evolution is onlysomething people talk about when they don't want to believe the Bible.

Where was it ever written that all mutations are beneficial?

who gave humans the right to decide what is beneficial and what isn't? aren't you usurping your authority?

but this is just it, what it boils down to is that some humans want to have the right to choose their own destiny or be their own boss. evolution just happens to fit that desire.

? You are really getting desperate here. Children born conjoined at the head 100 years ago had no chance of survival. Did god want it that way?
Did he just decide to fuck around with them because he could? Humans now have the ability to save some of them through medical advances. Is that "usurping our authority?" I certainly hope so.

some humans want to have the right to choose their own destiny or be their own boss.

What does that make you? A little god slave? I'll be my own boss, thank you. I don't need phony gods and the charlatans who serve them (and fill their own pockets in the process) telling me how to live my life. Fuck them!

I imagine you'll be howling about this, too?

http://apnews.excite.com/article/200606 ... 13780.html

Stepping into a research area marked by controversy and fraud, Harvard University scientists said Tuesday they are trying to clone human embryos to create stem cells they hope can be used one day to help conquer a host of diseases.

"We are convinced that work with embryonic stem cells holds enormous promise," said Harvard provost Dr. Steven Hyman.

The privately funded work is aimed at devising treatments for such ailments as diabetes, Lou Gehrig's disease, sickle-cell anemia and leukemia. Harvard is only the second American university to announce its venture into the challenging, politically charged research field.

not talking about God but the evolutionary process. what makes human think they can alter anything that evolution has started? if they can alter it then what does that say about evolution?

not really. i am not sure if cloning is going to work with humans. there are too many factors to take into account, for example--will the clone be alive? will it have a soul, be able to breathe, to think and have all the motor skills? and so on.

there are just too many questions and not enough answers without even delving into the ethical and spiritual sides of the issue.

You don't believe in the evolutionary process, remember? So all these little monsters must then be god's direct fault. Now that god hasn't got Joshua running around doing all that raping and killing for him it would seem as if he has little more to do than cause some birth defects from time to time.

God really needs to get a hobby.

They're not talking about cloning humans. Just cells for use in curing disease. A cell don't need a soul.

sorry must have mis-read it. still, the questions remain. right now i do not see a problem with the research but i haven't explore it enough to make a good judgment or opinion on the matter.

i think one question that needs to be answered is: does the ends justify the means? what are the ethical boundaries here that would affect the research and its success?

i am not one of those conservative christians who mindless stays with in certain limits. i am aware that the Bible talks rarely about such ventures and it would take a lot of contextual searching to find some passage that would give guidance in this work.

i think that the reason man has not been able to find the cures of many diseases, or i should say one reason why, is that they need physical evidence to remind them that they are not the master of this domain and some things are beyond their reach.
