Very Early Ancestors

One of our very early ancestor specie loved hunting at night. The ability to see well in the dark enabled these Synapsids to thrive, and they probably hunted in packs. Modern mammals lack this night vision ability, so the adaptation did not last. Explains why I love to walk in the dark, but cannot see a damn thing,
