Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Also, I do not have money to give a TedX talk.
The impact hazard can be handled with current technology,
but the US will have to spend more than 1/3 of 1% of the annual NASA budget to do it.
The Mars Nuts will fight you for every dime of it,
fair means and foul.
Aside from that, impacts explain a lot about human evolution,
and provide answers to many questions about ancient human societies.
They are a powerful tool for anthropological research.
As I am unable toc get into Chicago to the Ayre collection at the Newberry Library,
I am keeping myself occupied with the Mixtec, in particular the Codex Vienna,
which may show the fall of Teotihuacan.
I had no idea that Caso had broken Mixtec hieroglyphs.
When I did my book, the sequence for the Valley of Mexico was not clear.
The memories of the Holocene Start Impact Events usually show up in creation accounts.
With the Mixtec and Purepechua (Tarascans), we're looking at the spread of irrigation agriculture from South America.
There is a whole lot more to Mexico than Aztecs, Zoque (aka "Olmec"), Chontal Maya, and Yucatec Maya.
Fundamental works are not easily freely available in English.
If you have not read "Man and Impact in the Americas", buy yourself a used copy.
Hundreds of pages of small type, not enough pictures, and plenty of typos, but it is the place to start.
Personally, I'd rather be troweling through tsunami deposits on Crete.
