It's a fascinating site , but none of the excavators used the P word .
At the very least "P" or P shaped would have been more appropriate .
Not unlike the Henge with a timber circlei n Yorkshire , recently mentioned here .
Only the press described the monument as a "woodhenge " , the archaeos pointedly avoided that error .

Granted, none of the quotes in the article used the "P" word.
But the reporter did in the lead paragraph.
I would expect the article was passed by the site management for proofreading.

I doubt it , more than likely they would have a rough idea of what to expect , even from the grauniad .

It is a reporters career survival need.
