Stone Age Astronomy

From the news page

Multi site cave art analysis

They could date to with in 250 years over multi thousand year periods.
(That assumes there were things they wanted to remember for that long)

Also note the navigation possibly.

The night sky has not only always fascinated, but has been made useful as well.

It makes me wonder what it would take to enlarge the study to cave art in the Americas.

It would probably help if tourists stopped vandalizing them.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

These sound extravagant claims. Doesn't mean they are not true but wonders where the proof will come from.

I agree they are pushing the envelope.
And I am sure there will be cries of outrage.

But this is a new age of discovery.
I am open to being convinced.

As the late lamented Carl Sagan once said "Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out".
