Mystical scripts?! That stone looks similar to the 'cup and ring' marked stones found in Britain. It's certainly not a form of writing.
I agree that the stones look to have tool marks, though that doesn't necessarily imply anything on it's own.
Sorry, but you seem almost desperate to believe in this site's 'authenticity'.

This myth may just have been the Choctaw version of the flood myth they heard from the missionaries.

Perhaps the Choctaws and Yakimas are right, Frank?
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Can you post a link to these satellite images?

The Terra satellite, which has been orbiting Earth since

1999 as a joint project between US Nasa and the Japanese

Government, has been revealing further evidence of

pyramids in what is now referred to as

Bosnia’s Valley of Pyramids, near Visoko. (see image)

Archaeological Park: Bosnia Pyramid of the Sun

(the official Foundation for the archaeological site) analysed the data from the satellite thermal imaging and concluded that all four hills present anomalies inconsistent with natural landscapes.

The satellite imaging shows that these particular hills cool off more quickly than others in the area. This is indicative of colossal structures beneath the surface of the hills, created from dense materials which absorb less heat. The loss of heat also suggests that the hills contain hollow areas.

The results of the thermal imaging of the site indicate the possibility of a third and fourth pyramid in the valley, already named Pyramid of the Earth and the Bosnian Pyramid of the Dragon. If this is confirmed, it would make it the valley the largest, and arguably the most important, archaeological site in Europe.

Semir Osmanagic, chairman of the Foundation Archeological Park: Bosnia Pyramid of the Sun, said that the foundation will ensure that the work on the site, due to begin in April, will continue until at least November 2006. The teams working on the site will include Bosnian geologists, archaeologists and geophysicists, as well as international experts.

The Foundation is keen attract international verification of its work and is creating an international advisory team, which will include internationally-recognised archaeologists, historians and anthropologists.

Geophysical Analysis of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex by the Remote

Sensing Geophysicists.

Additional Evidence that the Mounds Visocica and Pljesevica, near Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Represent Ancient Colossal Stone Structures.

Two researchers using ultra-modern satellite imaging believe they have confirmed a discovery of huge, ancient buildings, which may be the first European pyramids, buried in a rugged, mountainous area, near the town of Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dr. Amer Smailbegovic who with his partner, Sean Anklam, are leading the investigative remote sensing work, said “ based on preliminary analysis of data collected thus far we have encouraging and compelling evidence that the two mounds we are focusing on may be in fact ancient pyramids.”

The researchers, working at Corporation in Reno, Nevada, USA have analyzed multiple satellite, airborne and radar imagery, and geospatial datasets, acquired over Visocica and Pljesevica, two mounds in Bosnia and Herzegovina postulated by a growing amount of scientific evidence, to be the first European Pyramids. Using several different available spaceborne, airborne and topographic datasets (Radarsat, Landsat, Hyperion, Orbview, IKONOS, Quickbird, Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) they hope to attain the full view of the area.

The Corporation commands recognition on its expertise and integrity, and elite clientele in the United States, ranging from government agencies to corporations and educational institutions. The company specializes in the acquisition of airborne hyperspectral imagery, analysis and interpretation of geospatial datasets and integration of multiple datasets into ready-to-use information for their customers.

“Personally speaking, we have no doubts that some kind of enormous, man-made structures exists in and around Visocica: the sides of the mounds appear unnatural because they are very linear, with clearly defined edges. The nature generally abhors straight lines and geometric theorems. In addition to Visocica and Pljesevica features, we may have identified other structures, not readily apparent to the observer on the ground.” state Dr. Smailbegovic and Anklam in their findings.

The researchers said they are applying the latest scientific methods in their geo-archaeological investigation. Smailbegovic said a number of Bosnian scientists will join the effort in the coming year. So far, the volunteer effort has centered on analyzing data collected from satellite imagery of areas near Visocica and Pljesevica, about 30km northwest of Sarajevo. A continued, concentrated effort will be initiated to explore the pyramid interior and the network of underground tunnel systems. Semir Osmanagic, the team’s principal investigator, said he is exploring several geophysical methods which could be used to explore the interior of the underground structures and the network of tunnels which may connect them to other areas of archaeological interest in the Visoko Valley.

Ok, Bob, cut it out. Just because arch is sick don't mean you have to take up his cause. I'll have to quit talking to you like I did to him.   Ya ornery old fart.

Well they would, wouldn't they?

Wait a minute: suggesting the hills contain hollow areas does NOT automatically indicate massive structures. It could just as easily be Limestone caverns!

.

The operative phrase there was "if this is confirmed". You seem to have already made up your mind without having all the evidence.

Such as?
Once again, just about every link you posted came from Osmanagich's own website, while one came word-for-word from a German blog site.

Thanks for the pictures, Ciko.

I think "something" is there, and I am eager to know what it is, but it is unfortunate that
Osmanegic has stated too many presumptions before
examing the evidence.
For example, naming the hills for the sun, moon, and dragon.
He might find out in a few months that they were actually
dedicated to the Tomato, the Skunk, and the Easter Bunny, but he might be inclined to suppress that information..

I know you did...that's the point I keep trying to make!
How's this for 'unnaturally straight lines' on natural features?
