Someone made a comment on my other board to the effect that if Nazareth existed at all in the first century it was so small that the most likely response to "Jesus of Nazareth" would have been "Jesus of Where

Read a book or something! For cryin' out loud
even though it is crap, there are tidbits that stand out despite J.'s efforts to be the next dumb and dumber.
i did enjoy the accidental archaeologist one as it pointed out the attitude of some of the archaeologists and their viewpoint of those who discover things outside of their control.
the forgery double epsiode gave a glimpse of what the world of antiquities (outside of the dig) is like and is helpful desopite J.'s efforts to the contrary.
I can't believe ya'll are wasting your time watching that crap
are you a member of minimalist's 'the club' by chance?

One can learn even from a bad teacher, Frank.
And Simcha may be one of the worst but the people he interviews do have something to say....even if his silly antics are spliced around them.

We have actually been enjoying watching these shows and think they are, probably unintentionally, thought provoking. The concensus seems to be that they are more entertainment than science, I'm sorry I think he's funny.
I mean come on, the Biblical cows and stuffing his poor camera man through that gate.

We loved the location shots and the juxtaposition of modern life with the ancient architecture.
Finkelstein was pretty funny saying every inch of Jerusalem had been thoroughly excavated by professionals and very little was found. He must REALLY be trying to discourage those amateur archaeologists.

Too many kids have to be entertained by their teachers these days. The little darlings lack the attention span to focus on a subject for more than a minute unless the teacher is putting on a show for them.
Arizona students were just rated the dumbest in the country. I voted against a school bond proposal and my wife wanted to know why. I explained that the kids were already the worst....they couldn't go any lower.

As long as you know the guy's an idiot I don't care if ya'll watch the shows. I refuse to waste my time on them or for that matter on this thread any more. Nothing personal folks. There's just a lot more important things to do.

Something about purple dye scheduled for tonight.
Got a hockey game first, though.
