Sounds good. I've watched them all and I get the feeling that I'm liking them more than the rest of you.

Oh well, someboby has to be the sucker.

Jacobovici is a schmuck but it's better than watching the 500th re-run of Modern Marvels.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

History Channel and History International have not produced anything new in recent memory. (They keep going over and over WWII and Vietnam, ad naseum) I've had to switch to the Discovery Science Channel and others hoping, above all else, that it is not a rehash. I do not hold out hope other than my newspapers and Magazines. (Online and in print). The message here is READ! Please!

Discovery just did the first half of a six episode series on Rome. Decently acted and fairly historical in terms of fighting style/armor. The first three were on Ti. Sempronius Gracchus, Caesar and Nero.

Why they skipped the struggle between Marius and Sulla and the Second Triumvirate of Antony, Octavius and Lepidus is beyond me...but I'm not the producer.

Tonight's was about the production of a certain type of dye which holds religious significance to orthodox jews.

Chiefly noteworthy for two reasons:

A- Less of Jacobovici's silly antics, and

B- Gives a fascinating insight into the mindset of religious fanatics.

Next Wednesday ole Simcha goes looking for crucifixion. Not necessarily "the" crucifixion but crucifixion in general.

I'm sure it will be riveting.

Episode one was on Flavius Josephus and not too shabby. Very little of Simcha's ego on display.

Episode two was about crucifixion and why there is only a single bone which shows evidence of what must have been a very common occurrence. Simcha never gets around to the obvious reason. A little too much of him but seeing him on a cross himself was oddly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, they took him down.

Recent episodes on David and Jezebel.

Superficial treatment of the subjects which is his style.

I'm finally caught up (I've had a busy couple of weeks). How many more of these are there anyway?

I'm still trying to recover from the latest two....

I don't know which was worse. The marijuana connection in the Leprosy episode or the hockey analogy in Joshua.
