I fully expect The Club to take Naeser at his word and challenge each of the dating systems!
By doing that, though, they will challenge those same methods that were used to establish the time frames for the African Ergaster and Erectus discoveries. Funny, there never was a big stink about those dates.

Ironic, isn't it?

From the reviews on the jacket cover it seems as if Hardaker tells the tale of how this find was consciously suppressed. I don't see how they can ignore that unless all of the parties involved are dead.

If so, they may just try to slough it off. You'll know that progress is being made when text book publishers start to abandon Clovis-First.

I've got my order in with Amazon for shipment upon release. Can't wait to see what he has to say. If it's as good as that video you sent out it will be well worth the effort.

Yeah, I'm chomping at the bit to read it. 8)

I wonder if Fiedel et al. blood pressure has risen over the past 2-3 years.

I'm gonna take a short nap. I'll catch up with you this afternoon.

I've started reading Chris Hardaker's The First American: The Suppressed Story of the People Who Discovered the New World, just out. What an incredible amount of data that man has collected, mostly from unpublished and hard-to-find sources. The book is plagued by a poor editing job, but the information is still there, and his writing style makes for an enjoyable read. And the saga shines through!
Virginia got her copy of Chris' book. Did you receive yours, Min?

Apparently Virginia isn't happy with the editing job. I've heard through personal correspondence that the biggest problem is a lot of text is in quotes and many quotes are not. Doesn't sound like a huge problem to me, but I guess if I worked as hard as Chris has, I would be upset by an editor hosing up the final product.

Crap. She got her book first? Where's mine? Charlie, tell Virginia the poor edit job can always be resolved in the 2nd edition and we'll help with that should Chris agree (yes, I just volunteered Virginia's time along with yours and mine - don't thank me). At least the word is getting out that scientists who hold pet theories have been ignoring a mountain of evidence to the contrary.

Haven't heard a word about it, Charlie.

I think I'll go check my account at Amazon and see what the status might be.

What's good about multiple editions is more and new evidence can be added. And Valsequillo is an ongoing saga, with Malde's (Steen-McIntyre included), Waters' and a third team, down there as we speak, collecting more samples to analyze. Marie Wormington had 4 editions to her "Ancient Man in America", an all time classic.

It appeals to my sense of justice and truth, Min.

A lot of good scientists in the past have been ridiculed and denied employment in the field they love, only because they stuck to observations instead of playing politics. To me, these I speak of are the true scientists.
