That looks like a fire.
A campfire I can see because that is kept going for a while but a brush fire burns up the availabe fuel and moves on...spectacularly quickly in some cases.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Wouldn't this indicate that the charring occured over a long period of time rather than in a short duration fire as one duing an invasion would be. For instance a fire pit which is used season after season.......

Ok I have another dumb question, this time regarding dates..... I don't recall the dates of the clovis period (and am too lazy to look it up right now) but it seems to me that it was quite a long time before the iron age. so how could there be pre-clovis iron works? or am I way wrong about the dates of the clovis period? (very possible)
