Possibly, though I originally hypothesized the end you colored in to be the end which is hafted to the shaft.

I'm just going by the taper.

Okay. Of course if the narrow end was hafted it would look more like an ice scraper or a cooking spatula than a spear.

Charlie, is there enough carbonate coating on that point for dating? Doesn't look like it, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
