It would certainly be a good thing if they are re-checking their work and running additional samples since they need to be certain of a controversial date. In other words, if the date was 12,000bp I would forward it back to you without thinking too much about it, but if the date was 145,000bp I would check and re-check the material over and over before sending out the results.BTW, nothing from Berkeley yet. Jim and me have both sent follow-up messages (2-3 weeks ago).
Wonder if this is a good thing?

Still, my intuition tells me the longer they hold onto the specimens, the better.
Call them and bug them ... if you must, blame it on me and tell them Budinger doesn't want to send any of his stuff to them if they're gonna be so frikken slow! Sam Houston didn't capture Santa Ana by taking a siesta ... go for it! (Besides, we're all curious)
