I talked to some people from Kansas and they never heard of anyone by the name of Dorothy or a dog by the name of Toto - I'm crushed

There was a documentry last year on the ABC in Australia where Mike Morewood and several others built a raft using similar tools and actually crossed the water i assumed everyone saw it?

Nope, it was definitely implying that the Lemurians were sentient. It may have been "Egypt Child of Atlantis" or a similar book. But when i read it the first time (whichever book it was) i found a few more non-academic sites that said similar things.

Rafts are cool. Natural precusor to an actual boat I would say. Slower and less maneuverable than a boat but most assuredly a great starting point.

When they climb on to a "vegetation mat" and make the trip that will bring into question the idea that some kind of boat was not neessary to get across.

Without any links to what you're saying, it's difficult to comment. But you do have to be very careful once you get into all matters Atlantis/Lemurian. Scholarly, reliable opinion that is based on solid evidence in that area is hard to come by.
