Try right clicking on it and select "view image" or "show image"
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

The only thing in the piece you can't see is the end of the core. I have cores of this type from indiana and Tenn.

It is reported that dr. Broster will begin testing the Townsend Farm materials on the 24th and the Univ. of Tenn. @ Knoxville has committed to a field school at the farm.

I'm sure all the veterans here understand the concept of a "core", Rick, but for the newbies who read but don't post, the idea of a "core" is a large (but not so large that it can't be transported) piece of workable stone ( flint, chert, etc) which is used as a source. Striking the core will result in usuable flakes which can then be worked into a tool. A core will have many obvious marks where it has been struck.

Or maybe not jw. HSN were a regional development, in theory I can see no reason why the Americas could not do the same if Erectus got there. Time will tell!Or.....earlier, e.g. Neanderthal.

Multi-Regionalism is always out there to annoy the OOA crowd, eh Roy?

Hello, I normally lurk but I did want to just quickly quote this (hope I did it right) and say thanks for the explanation. We newbies might be quiet but we are here reading and extra info here and there is helpful.Minimalist wrote:
