Plus the fact that it is a “non-Biblical” document.

I thought this was a pretty well written story about the find.
It seems to be evenhanded and not take a strong view.

And it does show how far back written Hebrew goes.

So any story (supposedly) a thousand years plus older can, at its kindest, be described as totally unsupported wishful thinking, at its most romantic as a fairy tale, and at its most objective and accurate as plain, old-fashioned superstition...
And second hand, opportunistically appropriated from other cultures... thus un-original at that!
(In summary: bovine manure...)

Pathetically small-minded, really.
