For those who are interested, it would be a good idea to read "Younger Dryas Boundary: Extraterrestrial or Not? AGU Fall Meeting 2009" to determine who is doing their homework and who isn't: http://cosmictusk.com/hello-world-2.

Sorry dude, but you're currently shouting into the wind.

But I'll make it up to you: I may be taking one nice cosmological fireworks display away from you, but I'm presenting you with another one! And a much grander one at that!

Enjoy:

It's already been covered in the 'everything else' section.

If Firestone says he has them and this guy says he doesn't then....one of them must be wrong.

Maybe the one who obtained only one sample reliably dated from the proper impact timeframe?

That would be a good bet.

If there's one thing I've learned from years of experience in impact studies, it is that de nile is not simply a river in Egypt.

If you want to read expert discussion of the current research, go to http://cosmictusk.com

Such a colossal event, so little media coverage.

Around 3:10PM Sunday afternoon residents of Colombia were awestruck when the clear sky was cracked open by a massive fireball that exploded upon impact leaving a 300 foot wide crater and a lot of rattled nerves.

This is not the first time this year that an impact event has been underreported.

It was in COLUMBIA. The media do not care about Columbia.

There was a major earthquake in NZ a few days ago. How much coverage did that get?

The media don't care about ColOmbia, because they probably don't even know where to find it on a map. Except when there are big red circles drawn around it when a Drug Czar or president – in a standard misdirection scenario – spins that tired old 'War On Drugs' yarn for the thousandth time.

Quiet you. We're burning korans this week in Tennessee. That will show the world how "with-it" we are!

This must be geography week... FYI: they're gonna burn Qur'Ans in Florida...

And don't forget that our Dutch pet ultra right winger parlementarian is going to try to stir up Muslim fobia in his speech at Ground Zero, on 9/11!
