That's a dynamic that is very real, that actually happened, and which has nothing to do with any conspiracy, real or imagined. Whence I didn't mention it at all in this debate. You brought it up.

"They did take advantage of the opportunity" doesn't even begin to describe what they actually did: they robbed you, the American citizen/taxpayer of a fucking trillion bucks! Waving that 9/11 gun in your face!

And, what everybody skirts around is that the national debt is still hemorrhageing today! Because the wars are still going on today. The tally is still diving everyday in an uncontrolled spiral. You don't have to be a genius to predict how that must inevitably end.
Remember why the USSR collapsed? They overspent on armaments. The kitty was totally empty after 70 years of tanks and jets and missiles and nukeler subs, etc. etc. The west, predominantly the USA, simply outspent 'm in 'the arms race'.
Well, it looks like the USA have now outspent themselves too!
In an arms race with iPod wielding camel jockeys...
