Why do car salesmen tell you that your SUV will get 30 miles to the gallon?

Perhaps that's true if you spend a lot of time rolling downhill with the engine off?

But I would hope for a better act from an international company Min.
Once you catch them out in a lie the rest of their comments must be suspect.

See? There's where you go off the track.

A salesman is a salesman whether he's selling snake oil cures or oil futures.

Of course, that might just be the cynic in me coming out again.

Here's another example of bias Min. This is the Guardian's take on the link I posted in the OP.
The Guardian states that it is the worlds liberal voice, according to my dictionary that includes seeing both sides, which the Guardian does not. The Guardian believes that the act of living is ungreen and that the EU was created by God!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2 ... e-sceptics

You will notice Min, in support of its agenda to return us to the stone age, the commentator makes absolutely no mention what so ever of Dr Curry, nor of her objections, a co-author, she simply does not exist!

Hmmm.....
Nevertheless, one prominent US climate sceptic, Anthony Watts, claimed to have identified a "basic procedural error" concerning time periods used in the research, and urged the authors to revise the paper.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Wa ... blogger%29
Watts became a television meteorologist in 1987 when he joined WLFI-TV in Lafayette, Indiana and KHSL-TV, a CBS affiliate based in Chico, California.[6] After working at KHSL for 17 years, he left in 2004 to become the radio meteorologist for KPAY-AM, a Fox News affiliate also based in Chico, California

Dig, I'm sure you are sincere but over here, when the bolded words show up the credibility of whoever is speaking takes a serious hit. It is too difficult to separate the Fox News affiliates from the energy company leash holders.

This guy was a friggin' TV weatherman. This whole thing is starting to remind me of the 9-11 Truth movement where alleged ph. d's. pay to have their articles published so they can then impress the nut jobs who are desperate to believe anyway.

And Al Gore is a high school drop out Min. One all!
We are getting more info about these E-Mails perhaps than you are, even the BBC is in the shit now. They have decided that MMGW is proven so they won't give air time to those who disagree. They have even put the scripts of game shows to GW supporters for comment! Censorship?
What the hell has game shows got to do with climate change?

I think the second link is very good though.

Um...... no.
Gore attended the all boys' St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. from 1956 to 1965, a prestigious feeder school for the Ivy League. He was the captain of the football team, threw discus for the track and field team, and participated in basketball, art, and government. He graduated 25th in his class of 51, applied to only one college, Harvard, and was accepted

Law school would not be the place to learn about science, anyway.

In fact, I'm not sure what one learns in law school.

News.

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 123214.htm
ScienceDaily (Dec. 9, 2011) — An unusually hot melting season in 2010 accelerated ice loss in southern Greenland by 100 billion tons -- and large portions of the island's bedrock rose an additional quarter of an inch in response.

Fascinating Min, but not really relevant to my OP that people are slanting 'facts' to support their own arguments.
You saw my post where I showed the maths to be a staraight forward case of misresentation. Today there is report detailing the accidents in the UK. So far four deaths and numerous injuries and an 'incident' rate approaching one a day.

http://www.windbyte.co.uk/safety.html

According to the report the Health and Safety Exec ordered the shut down of about 100 turbines due to a brake design fault, the manufacturer went bust!
