Inca in South America is pretty well known.
But note the curve at the bottom.

Inca stone work, like this at Cuzco, is amazing.

They did tend to use what was available locally, either limestone ( not too hard ) to granite ( damned hard.)

Beats me how they did it.

There is no other word for it and yet further evidence, if evidence is required that humans do not require JCBs, laser cuting machinery much less Ipods and mobile phones to create something remarkable.
