funny that
Could you elaborate on that? As far as I remember, he said that the Kon-Tiki could sail from South America to Polynesia and that the Ra boats could sail from Africa to South America. As far as i understand it, they did exactly that.
I think the Ra II came up a couple of hundred miles short. Ra I failed much earlier because they omitted a cable to hold the back end up.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
I enjoyed this article so thought I would post it here. I thought I remembered that the RaII had reached its destination and I remember the news at the time called it a ship.(as does my sailor partner).

It is sad that an exciting subject such as possible intercontinental contacts in ancient times has received such a poor reception in the scholarly community. Extremists who claim ancient Old World inscriptions on seemingly every oddly scratched stone in the Americas, or who call upon extraterrestrials to account for the achievements of the ancients, have spoiled what should be legitimate inquiry.
They haven't 'spoiled' it. They have simply given "the Club" an excuse to ignore what they wish would go away in the first place.

but the fact that there is no club kinda makes a mockery of your global archaeological conspiracy theory doesn't it
puts it on a par with "aliens did it"
as in you are saying "we did it but the Arch's have covered it up"
you might like to consider at some point that if what you are claiming is true the amount of evidence would be far too colossal for anyone to cover up
and you know
people don't becaome archaeologists in order to cover things up
they become archaeologists to uncover things
you're just getting Archaeologists confused with either the vatican or the C.I.A
but the fact that there is no club kinda makes a mockery of your global archaeological conspiracy theory doesn't it
You keep saying that but you're a charter member.
What number is on your membership card? 0001?

i thought the article was interesting as well and i feel that ancient sea travel is viewed in a very limited way. Any sailor, ancient or otherwise, would know of currents and if any were adventourous, i am sure they would have followed those same currents and explored beyond their normal boundaries.
the fact that what they discovered was lost to time doesn't mean they couldn't do it. just means that Columbus lived in a time where records were preserved better.
Laughable
the only person who would say that is someone who doesn't know the first thing about me
someone like you
groping in the dark and clutching at straws Min you really are
Maybe you are just a junior member who wants to impress the higher-ups?

Hmmm....just like the fellow who saw a hand axe until told it came from North America.....and then he said there were no hand axes in North America?
"Evidence" can be a very fluid thing where "The Club" is concerned.

I have it on good authority that Marduk is not a member of the mythical "Club" and is certainly nobody's junior. The CIA wouldn't have him since he's a bit of a loose cannon, and the vatican is probably looking for him right now in order to crucify him.
