I think one of the funniest cracks I ever heard was some guy saying "she looks like that guy on the Quaker Oats box," I about fell out.

Ok archae, so where is the evidence for the global-encompassing Noah's Flood which you espouse?

GV - Arch agreed to let this thread die several weeks ago. It was properly sinking to the bottom but Arch recently revived it - to cause trouble, as is his nature.

You will not get what you seek from him. This was started by a person exploring the Ryan/Pitman theory. I hope it can die.

But the story of Noah's Flood clearly describes a global-encompassing flood, so I guess he/she should have entitled the thread differently.

I accept that point. Daybrown is an intelligent woman but I don't think she envisioned the trouble that this would eventually cause in the hands of a
creationist/troll.

Rather presumptuous of her to automatically treat the Biblical account of Noah's Flood as pure baloney, wouldn't you say?

I guess you should start reading from the beginning. You couldn't be more wrong. It was, at one time, a scientific discussion.

It would be more scientific if you'd stop bashing the primary road-map for archaeological endeavours in the Middle East.

It's interesting that Ryan and Pitman cite circa 6000 B.C. for when the Med surged into the Black Sea basin, because mainstream dogma is that the sea level rose thousands of years before that with the end of the Ice Age, so how does one reconcile this conflict of theses?

Please explain to me how citing that the Bible has been the primary road-map for archaeological endevours in the Middle East is "spiraling down into nonsense?" I think the nonsense is coming from your end.
