We're thinking its an archaeology show when really its supposed to be a comedy.
Finally someone else sees it as a sitcom! I've been saying that all along.
It has been very fluish here and I have gotten behind on my viewing.
I watched Joshua last night, it seemed like more of the same only even more so. The whole Lego stop motion bible story was a new one for me. I want to know where they got all those cool legos.

I am finding myself feeling sorry for Finkelstein, he is way out of his league around Simcha. The guy dances circles around him and makes him come across as a prig.(or maybe he really is one) But as the saying goes 'If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit' I found myself a little disappointed that Simcha didn't really get hit with a comet.
I will try to get caught up and do some more posting. Hopefully not in the middle of the night though. I am not as lucid as normal this morning.(Damned insomnia)

Starflower, this link is to the latest CDC map of flu outbreak in the US. It's not bad, but you do have some out there. Flu shot?

Sounds like it might be a bit late for a flu shot.

If one already has already had the flu it is, otherwise not. Highly recommended.

The next two episodes are about the Temple Mount. I hope my DVR works. If so, I'll encode them and send them out next Monday or Tuesday. If not....we probably won't have missed much.

Just managed to watch the Masada episode and I agree with Min and Arch. It's definitely a pity they didn't throw Simcha off the mountain. That poor man who he interviewed on Masada and then again in Jerusalem was about ready to have an apoplexy. And I can understand why, he has been finding all these really incredible things at Masada and Simcha wants to talk about Christians on the mountain. Like he said maybe they were there, but I say who cares. I thought the bakers story sounded interesting but I'll never know because Simcha was chasing Christian ghosts and derailed the story. And what about the conspiracy going on about the cave with 25 bodies and the Nazarene papyrus? He never really explained what the conspiracy was and why there was one. Or did I miss something there too? Hope your recording thing works Min(Simcha is the comic relief in my week)

Bring 'em on. I really get a kick out of this weirdo. The actual archaeologists over there are the most interesting. Very surly group.

A week without "The Naked Archaeologist"? What will we do?
Nice try though Min.

Tomorrow he'll be looking at "Who Wrote The Bible?" If he is going to use 'archaeology' it is safe to assume that Arch will have a stroke.

Maybe they have 911 service in Korea?

Oddly, National Geographic just did a special on the Temple Mount. Much better than anything Simcha could come up with although they conceded that there isn't a hell of a lot of archaeology on the site pre-dating the Babylonian Exile.
