If I get a chance this weekend, I'll scan and upload photos taken at Aquiliea and maybe some of the ancient sites from Cividale. These go back about 100BC. Not as old as Min's stuff but perhaps interesting to some.

Thanks Beags! All good ideas are definitely considered, time available to make changes is the only enemy!

I'd say that it meets the definition of "archaeologically significant."

Has anybody heard from Digit? He hasn't posted in a couple of days. I hope he's not back in the hospital.

I hope he didn't take my advice to have a few beers too seriously.

Shoulda had my hands on the pics when I made this post but alas, it seems they have been shuffled away into some box or dark closet. I'm looking for them, and having fun in the meantime looking through hundreds of other photos.

I sure know how that goes FM. If I go looking for one photo I can get lost in them for hours.

I'm back!
It wasn't the beers Min, regretfully. Cog warned me about the debilitating results of the surgery, but till you experience it, it don't mean nothing man!
I've lost a stone (14lbs) in weight and I'm constantly tired, but apparently doing better than expected, (the wife says it's stubborness by the way).
I see the Israeli premier has had the same diagnosis and intends to continue as normal after surgery. That guy is in for one hell of a shock!
I'm currently erecting a new workshop for myself, and using a powered screw driver I managed to screw 14 screws in before needing a rest! And this will run for some weeks/months I'm told.
But what the hell, I'm alive, and God willing, will remain so for some time yet!

Great. I wish it had been the beers. Surgery takes a toll all right. You're sounding pretty chipper though. Welcome back.

I hope you can work up the strength to type, Dig.

Start slowly....maybe just reply with a few smilies until you're up to doing more?

Thanks Beag! Our posts crossed Min.
Apparently Min the hospital dieticians slipped up, and as a result my blood sugar levels collapsed to 20% of normal. I don't recommend it!
